West Wind Lakes Skate Park Kendell

Here is the rest of Sugar's Drop Shop Best Trick Contest that took place at Westwind Lakes Skatepark.  We're pretty sure Josia Gatlyn placed first again.  There were a few new faces out for this contest that definitely showed some great tricks.  We'd also like to congratulate Mike Schmidt for placing 1st in Skatepark of Tampa's recent contest.

Go Skateboarding Day 2010 - Part 1

Coconut Grove Skatepark, Downtown Miami, Fort Lauderdale Beach, BC Surf + Sport, AND Apollo Skatepark...what a day of skateboarding!  The skaters were out...and so were the cops which only scattered skaters to the next spot.  Unfortunately, a few spots in Miami were roped off like Epic 9 and Brickell so we decided to hit up Fort Lauderdale Beach next.

After the beach, went to BC Surf + Sport to keep celebrating and get some gear.  Then, it was off to Apollo Skatepark to finish the day off with a Best Trick contest.  It was awesome seeing everyone!  There had to have been 60+ skaters in attendance.  Whether watching, skating, filming, cheering, or competing, everyone was enjoying it.  Nothing says more about skateboarding than having a free best trick contest at a free park on Go Skateboarding Day.
